We don\u2019t believe anyone needs to compete in class. Instead, we are a community where everyone helps each other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our goal is to remove some of the barriers that would make it hard for you to come to class. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program runs from October to June each year. Classes start each October, although applications are accepted throughout the year. Classes meet online in a virtual Zoom environment with students from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Antioch University Los Angeles<\/strong><br>5150 W. Goldleaf Circle, Suite 101 Los Angeles, CA 90056<br>Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00\u20137:00 PM PST<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admissions Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must be 18 years of age or older.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must be able to read a newspaper in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must belong to a low-income household. (We define this as earning up to 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No high school diploma is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have reliable access to the internet, a computer, and be comfortable on Zoom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To be a successful Bridge student, you must also:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have the willingness to participate fully and responsibly in class discussions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be ready to participate fully in completing homework assignments \u2013 and ask for help when you need it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make a full commitment to the program \u2013 as well as your classmates, your teachers, and yourself \u2013 for the full nine months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All students who complete the course will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment and can receive up to 12 units of college credit from Antioch University Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interested in applying to the Bridge Program?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSerlJ6913B6s1r2VD66XSolVqk6Pj36qcTxshNg6xwF4IHToQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Complete the Application Form<\/a><\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Write a brief statement (one paragraph) explaining why you want to attend the Bridge Program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A statement that you meet income and ability qualifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Kathryn Pope<br>Antioch University Bridge Program<br>5150 W.
